Location: We sail from Blueberry Cove Camp, on Harts Neck Road and from our floats at the western end of Tenants Harbor, Maine.
Students: The program is open to juniors from ages 9 through 18, in beginning and advanced classes, limited to twenty juniors per class. All juniors must be able to pass a swim test and must wear a PFD (a "Personal Flotation Device", or lifejacket) at all times when on the water.
Boats:We teach using ten RS Teras, 9-foot single-sail boats that are unsinkable and self-righting. We also have six 14-foot two person "Club 420" racing dinghies, a 16-foot O'Day Daysailer, and a 19-foot Rhodes 19.
2025 Calendar : SGS will teach during three two-week sessions.

||
Morning sessions for beginner and intermediate
sailors are from 0900-1200 (9:00-12:00) . Afternoon sessions 1300 to 1600 (1:00-4:00), are for intermediate to more advanced sailors. |

Cost: $420 per two-week session; $210 for year-round residents of St. George and surrounding towns (Cushing, Thomaston, South Thomaston, Spruce Head). We can also accommodate students for just one week, although we recommend attending the full two weeks.
